On 2 November 2015, at the Babes-Bolyai University, Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, 26 students in year 2 (teacher education) attended the presentation of the LIT3 project. The goal of the meeting was to present the LIT3 project, its main results (with focus on the local strategy) and attract students to volunteer as family literacy programme facilitators or assistants, and participate in practicum at Tara Minunilor Day Centre for Roma children, where a family literacy programme is being implemented.
The students had many questions about the possibility to volunteer; a list was circulated at the end of the presentation and discussion, and 4 persons put down their names: 2 for volunteering, and two for praticum.
Some of the same students are going to be involved in the training for FL facilitators to be organized in Nicolae Iorga School beginning mid November 2015.
